What is a teleclass?

At the scheduled time*, from your regular telephone, you will be linked in a virtual classroom with people from different locations nationally and internationally.

   * Please note the classes are listed at Pacific Standard Time and adjust your time accordingly.

Will I be calling a toll-free number?

No. It is a call to Iowa . USA .

To reduce long distance toll charges you can use a Pre-paid calling card from major carriers like MCI or Sprint which can usually be purchased from Costco or Sam's Club and are very cost effective with rates as low as 3.5 cents a minute.  Also try www.phonecards.com for prices as low as 2.2 cents a minute (international too). I suggest you read the fine print.

What are the calling procedures?

1. After you register for the conference, you will receive a telephone number and 6 digit bridge number (code) to call, preferably 3-5 minutes before the scheduled time. You will be prompted when to enter the bridge number.

Please note that this is a private number which should only be called during your scheduled time and should not be shared with anyone outside the class.

 2. If possible, use any traditional landline telephone in a quiet place. Speaker phones, cordless phones, and especially cell phones, or internet technology can bring static on the line.

   3. Kindly minimize background noise and interruptions (computers, radios and televisions, pets, family members, and other household noises).

4. It is best to turn off call waiting before dialing into the teleclass. With most phone systems, you can do this by dialing *70. You will here some beeps and then the dial tone again. Check with your phone company.

 5. Please stay silent when you first enter the call, until you are greeted and asked to introduce yourself or until there is a break in the current conversation.

 6. If you are interrupted during the discussion part of the class, use your phone’s mute button or the 4* mute feature. Kindly do not place the class on hold, as we might hear music when you do so. Pressing 4* again will turn the mute off so that you can share. If your phone has a mute button, use that instead.  When you use 4* the system transmits a pair of beeps into the call that are audible to everyone else.

 7. If you must move around during the discussion, use the mute feature to minimize the sounds of movement. (Yes, we can hear everything!).

  8.  Whenever you would like to contribute to the conversation, please state your name and then ask your questions or give your comments. When you enter the teleclass, the other callers will hear a beep.

9. If Helene is guiding everyone through a meditation or healing process, she may mute everyone's phone to avoid interruptions. For discussions, she will unmute.

Is the class effective over the phone?  Yes!

Will I have the opportunity to address Helene?  Yes.

Can I audiotape a teleclass I am on?No. Audio taping of teleclasses is not permitted.

What if I am late for a class?

It is best if you make the commitment to be on time for each class. The first 10 minutes are usually spent greeting the participants. When you come in during this time, we will greet you and you may join the discussion. If you come when the class has already started, please be quiet and put your phone on mute with your phone's mute button or by pressing 4* (4 star).

What if I am going to miss a class?

If you must miss a class and it is recorded, you will be able to hear it later. Please send an email to: helene@helenerothschild.com

I am looking forward to sharing with you.

Love, Peace & Joy, Helene Rothschild
